Visão Geral OVERVIEW
No âmbito da unidade curricular de Design Gráfico II do 2.º ano da Licenciatura em Design da Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade de Lisboa (2025–2026), o projeto consistiu no desenvolvimento de um modelo gráfico integral para uma coleção de livros. O desafio abrangeu a conceção estrutural do miolo — fundamentada numa análise rigorosa da grelha, tipografia e hierarquia textual — e a criação de um sistema coerente de capas para três obras literárias distintas, tendo em conta a definição prévia de um público-alvo e a atemporalidade exigida pelo design editorial.
A coleção desenvolvida foca-se em obras de leitura obrigatória no ensino básico e secundário português, nomeadamente: Os Lusíadas, Auto da Barca do Inferno e Sermão de Santo António aos Peixes. Para esta última obra, foi desenvolvido o miolo, privilegiando uma abordagem visual limpa e minimalista, enriquecida por ilustrações alusivas à narrativa.
As part of the Graphic Design II course in the second year of the Design Bachelor’s program at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Lisbon (2025–2026), the project involved developing a comprehensive graphic design scheme for a book collection. The challenge encompassed the structural design of the interior pages—grounded in a rigorous analysis of the grid, typography, and textual hierarchy and the creation of a cohesive cover system for three distinct literary works, while considering the target audience and the timeless quality required in editorial design.
The collection focuses on works that are mandatory reading in the Portuguese basic and secondary education systems: Os Lusíadas, Auto da Barca do Inferno, and Sermão de Santo António aos Peixes. For the latter work, the interior layout was developed with a clean, minimalist visual approach, enhanced by illustrations that evoke the narrative.
